INDIE AUTHOR BOOK LAUNCH is a free platform for self-publishing authors to promote their new books on YouTube. Now offering indie authors the opportunity to market their books in an authentic format, this channel is dedicated to helping new and established authors discuss their latest work and announce upcoming or recent book launches with a talk show fireside chat.

As a recent debut novelist who was new to the self-publishing world, I was surprised to find so few free resources for independent authors to promote their books. I started this platform to give self-publishing authors the chance to market their fiction and non-fiction work in a way that's easily accessible to the literary community and new readers.

DETAILS & GUIDELINES:

• 25-minute interview format

• Self-published work must be scheduled for release within 90 days from date of interview

• Self-published work must have been published no more than one year prior to date of interview 

• Indie Author Book Launch retains rights to and ownership of video content for editing and online publishing purposes

• Participating guests must show proof of identity to verify authorship of work being discussed 

• Guests must consent to a preliminary videoconference call on Zoom or Teams prior to interview for planning and preparation

• Guests must consent to posting and promotion of their interview on YouTube and social media; guests must also consent to subsequent public engagement with said content across relevant social media platforms

• Guests must acknowledge and accept that neither they nor the channel host can control the quantity, quality, nature of, or comments made on said content (though they should expect positive comments and engagement)
